This Privacy Policy describes how Docsai by Nguyen Dang Kin ("we", "our", or "us") handles information when you use our application.
Docsai is a free, offline-first app. You do not need to create an account or sign in. There are no subscriptions and no usage quotas.
Documents. Markdown files you import or create are stored locally on your device. We do not upload, access, or store your document contents on our servers.
App preferences. Settings such as file/folder order and recent files are stored locally on your device via the platform's preference storage.
Import network requests. When you choose to import a conversation from a public share link (e.g. ChatGPT or Gemini), the app fetches that page over the network from your device. We do not proxy or store that content.
We do not collect account credentials, email addresses, payment information, analytics profiles, or advertising identifiers for this app.
Hosting for this policy. These policy pages may be hosted on Firebase Hosting. Visiting this page is separate from using the offline app.
AI platform share links. If you import from ChatGPT or Gemini share URLs, those services process the request according to their own privacy policies. Docsai only fetches the page you paste and converts it to Markdown on your device.
Your documents and preferences remain on your device. Uninstalling the app may remove local app data depending on the platform.
Our app is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new policy here and updating the "Last updated" date.
